Live MP3 "Real Time" Songwriting MiniConcert

MP3 Single We're Screaming In Your Ear

About This Music

Sometimes.. in fact, most of the time..
When I write music
It is an experience.

A supernatural experience.

The following mini-concert is a prime example. These songs were written

Spontaneously...

Extemporaneously

While being recorded, engineered and produced

On-the-fly

Do you care to know why?

So, that I might get in touch with Her...
Her friends,
And enemies we hope to mend.

These one-track recordings offer a special avenue
For you
To get through

The itinerary:

  1. Tough?
  2. In My Vision
  3. Your Heart Is....
  4. In Your Ear

Tough

PLAYERS
C. Moore: vocals, Washburn 12-string electric/acoustic guitar, keyboards and drum machine.
Matthew: 5-string Fender bass

NOTES
This song is for those people who think they are too BIG or too tough to accept love.

LYRICS

So, ya think you're BIG n' rough
ya think you're BIG n' tough

why don't you take a chill pill?
why don't you maintain some self-control?
why don't you learn how ta really rock n' roll?

ya think you're really tough
ya think you're really rough

..more like a marshmallow fellow

In My Vision

PLAYERS
C. Moore: vocals, keyboards and drum machine.
Matthew: 5-string Fender bass

NOTES
An autobiographical song.

LYRICS

In my vision
There's no division
It's your decision

Depending which way
You want to go
All you need do is
Let me know?

Just let me know?
Which way to go?
Just let me know?
Which way to go?

the image gets really sharp
helpin' get ya through
like a beacon in the dark

look to the one who
seems to know

how can I help ya
so ya don't go home

now that you've found
the pace
I'll show you this (ahh) place
I want you to taste

In my vision
There's no division
It's your decision

In his vision
There's no division
It's your decision

In my vision
There's no division
It's your decision

In my vision
There's no division
It's your decision

In my vision

In my vision

In my vision

In my
In my
In my
In my
HUGH! (End Of Vision)

MORE FROM THE GRATEFUL DEAD

The Question Is...
Is?

PLAYERS
C. Moore: vocals, Washburn 12-string electric/acoustic guitar, keyboards and drum machine.
Matthew: 5-string Fender bass

NOTES
This song was has to do with a conversation I had with Peter Gabriel. It is about a simple question -- is love, love? Is all love the same? And, do we all agree that we want to love?

LYRICS

The Question Is...
Is?

Question number two
Has to do with you

What is it that you

	Be?

Can ya help me to see?

There's something you can to do
To help me to see
What's in your heart
Right from the start

What is
Is?

For surely it will be

Question number three
Has to do with we

Can we be?

And, what's in your heart
I knew it right from the start

If ya listen to me
I could help ya ta see

It's not what I choose
... something
I could lose

It's Her gift to me
She lets me see
... helps me to see

see, see, see

see the light

she helps me to see
the light

she says:

there is a heart there

I'm so sure of it

it's in your heart

(We're Screaming) In Your Ear

PLAYERS
C. Moore: electric 6-string guitar, violin bow, keyboards and drum machine.
Matthew: 5-string Fender bass

NOTES
Here is a song that's a great example of communicating through music. Early on Sunday morning, I received a message from beyond. The Souls That Are Betwixt and The Living Dead sent an intense letter.. in English. English is nice, because the words are easy to understand. However, sometimes something gets lost in the translation.

So, I wanted to go back.. and, see if I could get them to talk to me in their language. Using an electric 6-string guitar, we made the journey. Listen really close.. and you can hear them say:

We're SREAMING in your ear
And, dangling by a thread.
